Summary:

We are looking for a Programme Manager to set a strategic direction and provide support for the Department’s Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Advisory Group (SOGIAG). The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to and knowledge of the issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people employed in and accessing health and social care. Experience of project and contract management is desirable, but training will be provided as necessary. The post is based in a small team and the postholder will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Equality and Human Rights Group and occasionally to provide advice and support to policy colleagues across the Department.
