unionlearn
TUC unionlearn works with unions to boost the skills, confidence and lifelong learning opportunities of working people. In particular we support a growing network of Union Learning Representatives who work with other union reps to improve the quality of life for their members.

Based in Liverpool L3 9NG: £32,819 pa rising incrementally to £33,476 pa
Based at Congress House, London WC1B 3LS: £36,482 pa including LW rising incrementally to £37,139 pa
Fixed to 31 March 2011
The post holder will provide detailed analysis of a range of management information evidencing unionlearn activities and outcomes. The post will also contribute to and support internal benchmarking and strategic planning processes. As well as having a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
• experience of data capture and analysis from a wide range of sources including computer software
• experience of management information analysis
• ability to read data, detect trends and anomalies, identify key points, and present in different formats
• knowledge of quantitative research methodologies including data analysis, statistical techniques and database management
• an understanding of the issues involved in adult skills and training
